Delhi Weather: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather is all set to change once again. As per the weather body, light rain along with strong winds will occur on Tuesday. A yellow alert has been issued in this regard.

The sky was overcast on Sunday morning, but as the day progressed, the sun shined bright. The sky remained clear throughout the day, resulting in a slight increase in temperatures compared to Saturday.

On Sunday, Delhi's minimum temperature was recorded at 20.1 degrees Celsius, 1.3 degrees below the season's average. The maximum temperature was 32.7 degrees Celsius, also 1.3 degrees below the season's average. The relative humidity at 5:30 pm was 46 per cent.

Delhi Weather Today

The weather department has forecast partly cloudy skies for Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 34 and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Delhi's air quality remains in the moderate category. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) on Sunday was recorded at 134, slightly lower than Saturday's 137. The AQI is not forecast to change significantly over the next week.

UP Weather

Hailstorms are expected in 10 districts of western Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The IMD has also forecast rain and gusty winds in these districts. Similar weather is expected in many districts of western Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday as well. Gusty winds will blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour in these districts.

Meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that hailstorms are possible in Bijnor, Meerut, Baghpat, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Saharanpur, Agra, Firozabad, Shamli and surrounding areas within the next 24 hours.

Singh further mentioned that there is a high possibility of thunder and lightning in Aligarh, Amroha, Badaun, Bareilly, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Kasganj, Meerut, Baghpat, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Muzaffarnagar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Mathura, Hathras, Saharanpur, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Shamli, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas on Monday.
