Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Daily life struggles of Delhi residents intensify amid dropping temperature, thick layer of fog, and worsening Air Quality. The minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to drop as low as 7 degrees Celsius by the end of the week, as a thick layer of Fog shrouds the national Capital.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Delhi-NCR, warning of cold day conditions and dense fog at isolated places in the city.
Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Yellow Alert Issued
The IMD has placed a yellow alert in the entire Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR), including Noida, Gurugram, and Ghaziabad, warning of extremely cold weather and dense fog at isolated places in the morning hours amid deteriorating AQI.
The maximum temperatures in the city are expected to hover around 20-22°C, while lows could dip to 8-10°C, intensifying the biting cold wave.
Delhi Weather Forecast: Thick Fog, Biting Cold To Persist
- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that the current weather conditions, thick fog, and biting cold, will persist across Delhi-NCR. Temperatures are likely to drop further towards the end of the week, leading to very dense fog at many places and a sharper chill.
- The national capital, Delhi, along with the NCR cities like Gurugram, Noida, is under a yellow alert for biting cold and dense fog at isolated places on Monday, December 22.
- The Delhi weather is expected to remain similar on Tuesday and Wednesday, with mainly clear sky, moderate fog, and wind speed between 15-25 kmph during daytime.
- The weather will see a slight change from December 25 to December 27, as IMD forecasts moderate to dense fog during morning hours with majorly clear sky during this period.
