Delhi Blast: The Delhi Police have issued an alert across all police stations, outposts, and border checkpoints in the capital to track a red Ford EcoSport ( DL10CK0458 ) suspected to be connected to the Red Fort blast case. The alert was issued after the investigation revealed that other suspects, already connected to the Hyundai i20 used in the explosion, were also in possession of another red-coloured car, the police source said.

Delhi Police have picked up close to a dozen suspects related directly or indirectly to the arrested persons. This is the first set of suspects rounded up by Delhi Police after the terror attack. All suspects are being questioned by multiple agencies.

At least five teams of Delhi Police have been deployed to locate the vehicle, while neighbouring Uttar Pradesh and Haryana Police have also been alerted to maintain heightened vigilance and assist in the search.

Sources stated that the red Ford EcoSport is registered to Dr. Umar Un Nabi, the main suspect in the Delhi blast case. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has constituted a "dedicated and comprehensive" investigation team to probe the recent Delhi car blast incident, a terrorist attack executed by a Jaish-e-Mohammad module unearthed by Indian agencies, top sources told PTI.

The car's registration details have been circulated to all border units, and the information has also been shared with the UP and Haryana Police to intensify the search. The source also said that the vehicle is suspected to have been used by Umar for reconnaissance activities.

At least 12 people were killed near the Lal Quila Metro Station on Monday evening after a blast occurred in a Hyundai i20 car. The initial post-mortem findings of the Delhi Blast victims revealed severe injuries, including broken bones and head trauma.

The initial findings suggest that the suspect Dr Umar Nabi triggered an explosion in panic, indicating that it was not a suicide attack. As per reports, the crime was committed under severe pressure due to the raids by the security agencies in several key cities.

Apart from this, the suspect also did not follow the usual pattern of the suicide attack as he did not collided the car with any object intentionally. The home ministry on Tuesday handed over the case to the NIA, considering it a possible act of terror.
