Delhi Encounter: An encounter occurred between the cops from the Budh Vihar police station and five suspected members of the Gogi gang in Delhi's Rohini district on Saturday morning. The police officers succeeded in arresting three accused. The visuals surfaced on social media show the encounter took place on a busy road. Two white cars are seen standing side by side, with their bonnets touching each other. Police officials with guns are seen in plain clothes in the video.

Two Gangsters Receive Bullet Injuries

The team of Budh Vihar SHO Karuna Sagar arrested three armed criminals after the encounter. Two criminals were shot during the encounter, making a total of three arrested. Two criminals managed to escape.

According to police sources, the arrested criminals are associated with the Gogi gang. Both criminals injured in the encounter were admitted to the hospital.

What Police Said On Action Against Gangsters

DCP Rohini Rajeev Ranjan said, "On the orders of CP, and under the direction of Special CP, Law and Order North, our Joint CP prepared a combined strategy for the Northern Range. We planned an early morning raid on the 18th with 19 teams against all the gang members we had identified who were operating in our area. We detained 11 of these gang members at 11 out of the 19 locations."

"Three gangsters were arrested with the country-made pistols, around 19 cartridges, a magazine, a laptop, and a solar cell phone. Another three people found with weapons under the Arms Act have been taken into remand. We conducted operations in Jhajjar, Bahadurgarh, and Rohtak areas. Outer North conducted operations in the Sonipat area," he added.
