Delhi Ramleela Artist Heart Attack:  A 45-year-old man died after suffering a cardiac arrest on stage while performing the role of Lord Rama at a Ramleela in Vishwakarma Nagar of Delhi’s Shahdara, officials said on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Sushil Kaushik, who used to work as a property dealer, police said. A video also surfaced on social media showing Kaushik leaving the Ramleela midway and going backstage as he was not feeling well.

According to a report in Dainik Jagran, Kaushik suddenly fell unconscious while performing on the stage of Jai Shree Ramleela, after which he was rushed to Kailash Deepak Hospital in Anand Vihar. The doctors declared him dead on arrival at the hospital, the report added.

AAP Blames Covid Vaccine

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj took to social media platform X to link the increasing heart attacks to the COVID-19 vaccines.

"It is a common discussion that after the Corona vaccine, such cases are continuously coming in India where young people are dying of heart attack while walking," Bhardwaj said while sharing the Delhi Ramleela video.

Further details are awaited.
