Delhi Air Quality

Despite a foggy start, improved wind speeds led to a clear sky by midday on Sunday. However, air quality worsened initially, with the average Air Quality Index (AQI) at 368, classified as ‘very poor,’ compared to Saturday’s AQI of 255 (‘poor’). By evening, better wind conditions helped improve air quality slightly, bringing the AQI down to 263 (‘poor’).

Officials from the Commission for Air Quality Management noted the trend and stated that stricter anti-pollution measures would be implemented only if AQI levels exceed 350.
