The Delhi government has directed all schools to resume physical classes following the lifting of anti-pollution measures in the national capital. The Directorate of Education (DoE), in a notice dated January 17, stated that the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) had decided to end Stage III restrictions of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) with immediate effect.

The notice instructed all government, private and unaided schools under the DoE, NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council), MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) and the Delhi Cantonment Board to conduct classes in physical mode effective immediately.

"All schools are to be held in physical mode with immediate effect," the DoE notice read. School authorities were also asked to inform students, staff and parents about the resumption of offline classes. Classes are expected to operate fully offline starting Monday, with students, parents and guardians encouraged to contact school authorities for further information.
