The Delhi Police on Tuesday arrested two men in connection with the alleged assault of a 53-year-old Army Brigadier and his son in the Mehram Nagar area in the capital.
The arrested accused have been identified as Satender alias Sonu (49), a resident of Mehram Nagar and Sanjay Sharma (56).
While Sonu is the director of a private aviation firm dealing in charter and cargo flight services and aircraft trading, Sharma runs a local eatery in the same area
Army Brigadier Parminder Singh Arora and his 23-year-old IIT graduate son Tejas Arora were allegedly assaulted while his wife was threatened by a group of men in southwest Delhi's Vasant Enclave area after they objected to two people consuming alcohol inside a Mercedes car parked outside their house on Monday.
The father and son duo also alleged that their complaint was not acted upon immediately at the Vasant Vihar police station.

The police said that Satender and Sanjay Sharma were seen in the car involved in the incident. The police have also seized the Mercedes car involved in the incident.
After their arrest, the police said they were interrogating both suspects. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Arora said that he had his won were out on a walk at about 10 PM, when they saw two men drinking inside a Mercedes-Benz parked outside their home.
"We knew they were not from our block, so I asked them not to drink in public," Arora was quoted as saying by HT.
Arora contacted the police, following which a junior-rank officer reached the spot. Although the officer listened to their complaint but took no action.

Shortly after the incident, seven to eight people reached the spot and attacked Tejas. "The policeman just stood there and did nothing," Arora said.
The family in their written complaint have also alleged that the accused made comments which outraged the modesty of the brigadier's wife as she tried to intervene.
