After the woman accidentally drove her thar through a glass wall of the Mahindra showroom in Delhi’s Preet Vihar while she attempted to crush a lemon with the wheel, she has released a video.
 
Refuting the various claims made on social media over the incident, the woman in question has confirmed that she and all those sitting in the car were safe and fine. Besides, she also slapped down those spreading rumours of her death and severe injuries.

Delhi Thar Incident: Here’s What Happened In Mahindra Showroom

- The Thar incidentoccurred when a woman pushed the accelerator to crush the lemon as part of ‘pooja’ right after buying a Rs 27 lakh Thar, but it went wrong.  
 
- According to police, no one was hurt in the incident that took place on Monday, around 5 pm in Preet Vihar.
 
- Reacting to the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Abhishek Dhania on Tuesday said, Pradeep, his 29-year-old wife, Maani Pawar, went to buy a Mahindra Thar from the showroom. The couple and a showroom salesman were inside the car when it drove off. The woman accidentally pressed the accelerator while conducting a pooja, causing the accident.
 
 
- "On Monday at about 6.08 pm, the medico-legal case (MLC) of Maani Pawar, resident of Indirapuram in Ghaziabad, was received from Malik Hospital in Nirman Vihar. On enquiry, it was found that Maani and her husband Pradeep purchased a Thar Rox car from a Mahindra Showroom situated at Nirman Vihar," Dhania said.
