Food lovers in Delhi are in for a treat, the city is about to welcome its very first dedicated night-time street-food market, right behind the historic Salimgarh Fort.
According to a report by The Times of India, the market is expected to open within the next two weeks and promises to add a whole new flavor to Delhi’s after-dark food scene. The space will feature a mix of food trucks, vans, and kiosk vendors serving up some of the city’s most-loved street eats.

Out of the 300 applicants, only 50 vendors will be allowed to operate at the site at any given time. The market will run from 6 PM to 10 PM, giving locals and tourists alike the perfect excuse for an evening food walk. The official also added, “If the model is successful, it can be replicated in other parts of the city to showcase the range of the city's street foods.”
