Delhi Traffic Advisory: In light of Krishna Janmashtami on August 26, Delhi Police on Saturday, August 24, released a traffic advisory at Laxmi Narayan Mandir. Janmashtami, an annual holiday commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, will be celebrated on Monday. The advisory said that Mandir Marg, which can be accessed from Peshwa Road or Kali Bari Marg, will be the entry point to the main temple.
It said that one cannot bring in handbags, briefcases, packages, food packs, cameras, cell phones, or any other battery-operated devices.

As we know guests entering the temple must take off their shoes to get via the metal detectors that go to the gates. According to the notification, arrangements have been set up for the temple officials to store the footwear in shops next to Kali Bari Marg and the Hindu Maha Sabha headquarters on Peshwa Road.

The major temple gates will provide access to the Geeta Bhawan and the Vatika. It added that every other gate leading into the temple compound will stay locked.
The compound of the temple has two exit gates. According to the advisory, everyone going to Kali Bari Marg will proceed via the Vatika Geeta Bhawan exit (Vatika opening) lane. The third gate on the Geeta Bhawan side should be used by anyone wishing to travel towards Peshwa Road. Gate number 3 is not open for entry. It said that vehicular traffic will not be permitted on Mandir Marg between the roundabouts on Panchkuian Road, Park Street on Kali Bari Marg, Udyan Marg, and Peshwa Road.
A help desk has been positioned next to the temple's main entrance. It further stated that Delhi Police wishes everyone a safe and joyous Janmashtami festival.
