Delhi Traffic Advisory: Commuters in the national capital are expected to face significant traffic disruptions on Saturday, March 28, as the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory ahead of 'Satrangi Re by Sonu Nigam Live Music Concert' at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

According to the advisory, traffic restrictions will be in place from 4 PM to 11 PM, with peak congestion expected between 2 PM and 10 PM due to heavy footfall around the venue. Authorities have urged commuters to avoid affected stretches, plan their journey in advance and use public transport wherever possible.

Delhi Traffic Advisory: Check Affected Routes

- According to the advisory, vehicles will face restrictions/diversions on key stretches such as IP Marg and Vikas Marg.

- Heavy vehicles will be restricted from going from Rajghat to IP Marg.

- Commuters have been advised to avoid several major stretches, including IP Marg (MGM), Vikas Marg and Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Depot between 2 PM and 10 PM on the day of the concert.

Check Stadium Entry Gates

To ensure the smooth movement of attendees, specific entry routes have been designated for the different gates of the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

- Gates 07 & 08: Entry via Velodrome Road

- Gates 16, 18, 21 & 22: Entry via MGM Road

Check Parking Guidelines

- According to the advisory, parking near the stadium will be limited and strictly regulated.

- Entry to parking areas will be allowed only for vehicles with valid parking labels via MGM Road.

- Vehicles without proper parking authorisation will not be permitted near the venue.

Advisory For Commuters

The Delhi Traffic Police has advised commuters to avoid affected routes, plan their journeys via alternate routes in advance and use public transport wherever possible. Motorists have been advised to follow instructions from traffic personnel on duty to ensure smooth movement.
