Delhi Traffic Advisory: After many delays, repair work on the Sarita Vihar Flyover is scheduled to begin on June 10. The project will be completed in four parts over 60 days to minimise any disturbance to the traffic flow between Delhi and Faridabad. It is said that the repair work, which was originally scheduled for June 2023 but was delayed, would now be done systematically.

Each phase will include partly shutting one route of the flyover while leaving the other half open for cars. This initiative intends to reduce congestion and discomfort for the millions of commuters that use Mathura Road every day.

The repair work, which was scheduled to begin on May 1, was delayed owing to the Lok Sabha elections. However, with the revised timeline in place, officials are hopeful about finishing the renovation within the 60-day deadline.

Repair Work At Sarita Vihar Flyover To Begin In Phase Manner

Phase 1: The half-lane between Ashram to Faridabad will be repaired.

Phase 2: The other half of the identical direction will be fixed.

Phases 3 and 4: Work on the highways leading from Faridabad to Ashram will continue.

Officials believe that the repair work would cause major traffic congestion, particularly in Badarpur, Sarita Vihar, Kalindi Kunj, Okhla, and Faridabad.
