Delhi Traffic Advisory: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the IPL match between the Delhi Capitals and the Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This day-night match is scheduled to take place from 3 PM to 7:30 PM and is likely to be attended by thousands of fans. The authority stated that restrictions have been imposed on some of the routes to manage the rush. The police have advised the residents to use the public transportation and follow the guidelines to avoid any inconveniences.
Restriction imposed on these routes:
- Traffic restrictions and diversions are likely to be implemented on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and Jawaharlal Nehru Marg between 1 PM and 9 PM
- The entry of heavy and commercial vehicles will be prohibited on several routes, including from Daryaganj to Delhi Gate Chowk, from Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak Chowk, and from ITO to Delhi Gate.

Avoid these routes:
As per the advisory, the fans have been advised to avoid several routes, including Rajghat to Delhi Gate, Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate, and Delhi Gate to ITO. The traffic police clarified that parking for general vehicles will not be permitted near the stadium. It asserted that only authorised vehicles will be granted entry, adding that designated parking areas have been allocated at JP Park, Vikram Nagar, and near the JJB Prayas office.
The authority also stated that designated pick-up and drop-off points for cabs have been established at Gate Number 2 (near MAMC) and the service lane between Rajghat Chowk (IP Flyover) and Rajghat.

The traffic police have advised the fans to use alternative routes and avoid congested areas to avoid the rush. It further advised the residents to maximise the use of public transportation, especially during the peak hours, to ensure a better travel experience.
