Delhi Encounter: The Delhi Police succeeded in arresting two wanted criminals, who have links to foreign-based gangsters after an encounter in the Kapashera area on Friday. During the encounter, one gangster sustained a bullet injury in the lower body before being overpowered. He was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical aid.

Who Are The Arrested Shooters?

Police said the accused are identified as Akash Rajput and Mahipal, both residents of Rajasthan. Rajput was wanted in multiple extortion and kidnapping cases in Haryana, Gujarat and Rajasthan, and carried a bounty of Rs 20,000 announced by the Rajasthan Police.

"Rajput was involved in the July 2022 firing outside a hospital in Assandh in Karnal, carried out on the directions of gangster Daler Kotia, and was also wanted in a July 2025 abduction case in Gujarat in which gangster Kirit Singh Jhala had demanded Rs 100 crore ransom," said the officer.

Jhala had recently joined the syndicate of Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar and Virender Charan, police said. Police further mentioned that Mahipal, who had been previously arrested in the Karnal firing case and released on bail, had also become active within the same network.

Two Shooters Of Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar Gang Arrested After Encounter

The development comes a day after the Delhi Police arrested two shooters of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang after an encounter on the Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Road in the national capital. Police said both shooters have been identified. as Rahul, a resident of Panipat, Haryana, and Sahil, a resident of Bhiwani. The injured criminal, Rahul, was involved in the triple murder in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, in December 2024 and had been absconding since he had not yet been identified.

For the past few days, these two criminals had been working at the behest of gangsters Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar, and Virender Charan, who were living abroad.

According to the police, the duo were planning to murder a social media influencer and had conducted reconnaissance of their targets in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
