Delhi Encounter: An encounter broke out between police and criminals on the Jaitpur-Kalindi Kunj Road in Delhi on Thursday morning. After the gunfight, the Delhi Police Special Cell team succeeded in apprehending two criminals. Both criminals were said to be shooters of the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar gang.
Police said both shooters have been identified. One is Rahul, a resident of Panipat, Haryana, and the other is Sahil, a resident of Bhiwani. The injured criminal, Rahul, was involved in the triple murder in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, in December 2024 and had been absconding since he had not yet been identified.
For the past few days, these two criminals had been working at the behest of gangsters Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar, and Virender Charan, who were living abroad.
Shooters Were Planning To Attack Social Media Influencer
The duo were attempting to murder a social media influencer and had conducted reconnaissance of their targets in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The two criminals injured by police gunfire have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession during their arrest. Police said interrogation of the duo would be carried out once they are discharged from the hospital.

Delhi Police Arrests Two Murder Accused After Encounter
Earlier on September 26, the Delhi Police achieved similar success after arresting two men wanted in connection with a murder case, following an encounter in Gurugram. The accused have been identified as Mohit Jakhad (29), a resident of Chhawla and Jatin Rajput (21), a resident of Dwarka Mor. The joint operation by Delhi Police and Gurugram Police was carried out around 4.30 am. The accused were allegedly involved in the murder of Neeraj Tehlan in Delhi's Najafgarh on July 4, police said.
