Delhi Weather: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Sunday will witness warm conditions. The national capital saw a slight rise in temperatures on Saturday as it remained sunny throughout the day. However, the weather will change starting Monday. Light rain and strong winds are possible for two days. A yellow alert has been issued for both Monday and Tuesday.

The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 36.9 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees higher than Friday and 2.4 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was 23.8 degrees Celsius, 1.2 degrees higher than Friday but 1.3 degrees below normal. Similar minimum and maximum temperatures were recorded at other weather stations in the city.

Possibility Of Arrival Of New Western Disturbance

According to IMD, a new western disturbance is expected to arrive in the western Himalayan region from Sunday. This could bring light to moderate rainfall and strong winds to Delhi on Monday and Tuesday.

UP Weather

The weather in Uttar Pradesh will remain largely dry for the next two days in all districts, including Lucknow. After this, temperatures are expected to rise by 6 to 8 degrees Celsius for the next week. However, there will be no heat wave during this period.

While it did not rain on Saturday, as forecast by the weather department, the clouds, accompanied by strong winds, brought down the day's maximum temperature. Clouds remained overcast until around 10 am. Meanwhile, easterly winds blew throughout the day, gusting between 12 and 26 kilometres per hour.

Bihar Weather

With partly cloudy skies prevailing in most parts of Bihar, a warning has been issued for thunderstorms, rain, and lightning, especially in North Bihar.

According to the Patna Meteorological Center, thunderstorms and rain are expected in various parts of the state over the next four to five days. The weather is changing these days due to a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal and the development of a cyclonic circulation over eastern Bihar and surrounding areas.
