Delhi Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) sounded a 'yellow' alert for Tuesday stating generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rainfall in the national capital, along with thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds and strong surface winds with speeds ranging to 30 to 40 kmph. Residents of Delhi-NCR woke up to pleasant conditions on Tuesday as light rain accompanied by strong winds swept across various locations on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami last night.

Delhi Weather: Weekly Forecast

The weather forecast for Delhi over the week indicates a generally cloudy sky with occasional rain and thunderstorms. On August 27, temperatures are expected to range between 33 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, with gusty winds from the southeast at speeds of 18 to 26 km/h. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely, accompanied by winds reaching 30-40 km/h.

On August 28, the temperature will hover between 34 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, with winds from the south and southeast at speeds of 8 to 12 km/h. A generally cloudy sky with light rain and thunderstorms is anticipated.

Moving into August 29 and 30, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius. The wind will blow from the southeast and east at speeds ranging from 8 to 14 km/h. The sky will remain generally cloudy with light rain and thunderstorms predicted for August 29, while August 30 will see partly cloudy skies.

For August 31 and September 1, temperatures will peak at 36 degrees Celsius with a minimum of 27 degrees Celsius. Winds will vary from east to west-northwest, blowing at speeds of 8 to 12 km/h, with partly cloudy skies expected on both days.
