Delhi Weather: In Delhi, the likelihood of rain has significantly decreased now. In these circumstances, Monsoon might formally bid adieu from the national capital in three to four days. The temperature will then begin to steadily drop as well. Both the strength and direction of the winds will decrease.
The capital has reportedly received more than 1000 mm of rain during the monsoon after two years. Rainfall in Delhi (Safdarjung) has totalled 1029.9 mm so far. This is higher than average by 61 percent. Prior to this, rainfall totals for 2021, 2022, and 2023 were 1169.7 mm, 516.9 mm, and 66089 mm, respectively.
Skymet Weather's Vice President (Meteorology and Climate Change), Mahesh Palawat, stated that the likelihood of rain is quite low right now. However, it might take two to three days for the wind direction to alter. The Meteorological Department will proclaim the monsoon's departure from Delhi only when northwesterly winds begin to blow.
