Bihar Rains:  A flash flood alert has been issued for 13 districts in Bihar, including Patna, for the next 24 hours. The Disaster Management Department has issued a warning to the District Magistrates of all the districts with a flash flood alert.

People were instructed to be prepared in every manner as part of the normal operating procedures. At the same time, five districts have received a warning of heavy rain.

The Disaster Management Department's notice stated that the India Meteorological Department had issued a flash flood warning. West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Vaishali, Patna, Jehanabad, Madhubani, and Bhojpur districts have all received a warning.

The Disaster Management Department has instructed all District Magistrates to make necessary preparations to cope with the emergency scenario in the wake of the alert.

All involved individuals and agencies have been advised to be on high alert. People should be made aware of this through social media and newspapers so that they can be vigilant.

On Saturday, the districts of West Champaran, Araria, Kishanganj, and Gopalganj were given a heavy rainfall warning. At the same time, Shivhar, Sitamarhi, Saran, Siwan, Supaul, Madhepura, Muzaffarpur, and Purnia districts may see heavy rain in one or two locations.
