Delhi Weather Updates
The minimum temperature on Monday morning was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees above normal, contributing to chilly mornings. The Meteorological Department forecasts smog and moderate to dense fog on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Depending on fog density, visibility may drop to 50–500 meters, with temperatures expected to range between 8 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius.
The city experienced drizzle late Sunday evening in areas like Laxmi Nagar, Lodhi Road, and Vasant Kunj, marking the first rain in two and a half months since September 19. The Western Disturbance active over the region brought cloud cover, preventing the sun from shining brightly and resulting in a maximum temperature drop of 1.7 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day.
