Effects Of Active Western Disturbance Over Rajasthan, Central Pakistan
Experts attribute this cool weather, which persisted during the scorching heat of late May and early June, to rain and thunderstorms associated with an active western disturbance over Rajasthan and central Pakistan. Weather experts said that the movement of rain and clouds in Delhi and NCR is due to the influence of an active western disturbance over Rajasthan and central Pakistan.
IMD forecasts that light rain accompanied by strong dust storms may occur in various areas of Delhi on Monday and Tuesday. Wind speeds could reach 60 kmph. Light drizzle accompanied by strong winds is also expected on Wednesday and Thursday. The IMD estimates that the maximum temperature will remain below 40 degrees Celsius until June 6.
After days of intense heat, a strong shift in weather is expected as pre-monsoon activity brings thunderstorms, heavy rain, and hailstorms to large parts of India.
