Delhi Weather Today: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that Delhi is likely to get light to moderate rain and thundershowers over the day. In this regard, the IMD has also issued a 'yellow' alert for today. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain or thundershowers anticipated in the city on Thursday is expected to cause a temperature drop of around three degrees.

Delhi Weather: Weekly Forecast

On August 8, the temperature will range between 32 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, with winds from the southeast at 16 kmph in the morning, 14 kmph in the afternoon, and 16 kmph in the evening, accompanied by light to moderate rain and thundershowers.

On August 9, temperatures will hover between 33 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, with winds shifting from east-southeast at 14 kmph in the morning, east at 12 kmph in the afternoon, and south at 8 kmph in the evening, along with light rain and thunderstorms. The forecast for August 10 predicts temperatures between 33 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, with south winds at 6 kmph in the morning, east winds at 6 kmph in the afternoon, and northwest winds at 6 kmph in the evening, with light rain and thunderstorms anticipated.

August 11 will see temperatures between 31 and 25 degrees Celsius, with east winds at 12 kmph in the morning and east-southeast winds at 8 kmph in the afternoon and evening, continuing the trend of light rain and thunderstorms. Finally, on August 12, the temperature will range between 31 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, with southeast winds at 10 kmph in the morning and south winds at 12 kmph in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by light rain and thunderstorms.

Delhi Weather: Rainfall Statistics

July ended with a rain deficit of 3 per cent, recording 203.7 mm of rainfall compared to the usual 209.7 mm. In contrast, June experienced an excess rainfall of 228 per cent, with a total of 243.4 mm.
