Delhi Weather Update: The weather in the national capital is becoming increasingly uncomfortable as residents await relief in the form of rainfall. Earlier weather forecasts indicated that the monsoon would hit the Delhi-NCR by June 24, but there is no sign of rain, while the IMD rain warning remains in place. According to the weather department, the favourable weather system is active in the region, and rain can hit the city at any time.
As scorching heat continues to become unbearable, the data from AQI.in and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) indicate that Delhi is set to experience a warm day with a chance of rainfall. The IMD has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and lightning, accompanied by moderate to light rain.
The sky is anticipated to be generally cloudy with temperatures reaching a high of 40.7°C and a low of 31.6°C, as per AQI.in. Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are likely to be accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30–40 kmph, occasionally reaching up to 50 kmph during storms, the IMD said.
The range is maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 35 and 28 degrees Celsius, as per the weather forecast by IMD.
