As dense fog continues to shroud the national capital and adjacent areas, the visibility is severely affected in many parts. The weather conditions have led to unprecedented delays in the operations of flights and trains. According to the flight tracker website flightradar24 , over 100 flights have been delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
The Delhi airport issued an advisory in this regard that stated, "Low visibility procedures are in progress at Delhi airport. All flight operations are presently normal. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information."

Several parts of north India, including the national capital New Delhi, have been reeling under acute cold and a shroud of dense fog for the last few days. The temperature in Delhi dropped to 3.3 degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning, which is this winter season's lowest. IMD has issued an orange alert for very dense fog.
As per the weather department, a layer of fog was seen from Punjab to northeast India across Haryana, north MP, UP, Bihar and West Bengal. The patches of fog were also seen along the east coast of India. Zero visibility was observed in cities which include, Varanasi, Agra, Gwalior, Jammu, Pathankot, and Chandigarh.
For the first time in Punjab in this winter season, the temperature went below zero degree Celsius on Monday morning. It was -0.2 degrees Celsius in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, while the temperature there on Sunday morning was zero degree. Haryana also shivered at close to zero degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature was 0.4 degree in the morning in Mahendragarh, where it was 2 degrees at 8.30 am on Sunday, as per a bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department.
