Weather Update: After three days of warmth in Delhi, the weather is expected to change again on Wednesday and Thursday. The forecast suggests that clouds will cover the sky throughout the day, with the possibility of thunderclouds forming in the evening and night, along with light rainfall. This will likely increase the chill and cause a drop in temperature in the national capital.

The recorded maximum temperature was 24.0°C. On Tuesday, despite the bright sunshine throughout the day, the warmth was noticeable, especially in the afternoon, when people found warm clothes uncomfortable. As a result, the maximum temperature recorded was 3.7°C above normal, at 24.0°C. The minimum temperature was 3.1°C above normal, at 10.6°C.

The minimum temperature recorded was 13.3°C. Meanwhile, the humidity level in the air ranged from 95% to 45%. Pitampura was the hottest area in Delhi, with a maximum temperature of 25.2°C and a minimum temperature of 13.3°C.

The weather department has predicted that there will be smog and moderate fog in most areas on Wednesday morning, with the possibility of dense fog in some places. Clouds will cover the sky throughout the day, and there are chances of thunderclouds and light rainfall in the evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 22°C and 11°C, respectively.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert, reports jagran.com. Similar weather conditions are expected on Thursday as well. A yellow alert has also been issued for Friday due to the possibility of fog.

On Tuesday, the air quality in Delhi was recorded in the "poor" category. According to the CPCB, the AQI in the capital was 289. This was a 25-point improvement from Monday’s AQI of 314. In NCR cities, the AQI ranged from moderate to poor levels.
