Delhi Weather Update: The visibility in Delhi dropped to zero as the national capital was engulfed in a thick layer of fog on Friday. The minimum temperature was recorded at 9.6 Degrees Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature is likely to drop to 6 Degrees Celsius today, while the maximum temperature is likely to settle at somewhere around 20 Degrees Celsius. Due to the bad weather, 26 trains and more than 100 flights to Delhi have been affected.
Delhi Weather Update: IGI Airport Issues Advisory- As dense fog covered the national capital, the Delhi Airport issued an advisory for the passengers stating that there has been impact on flight departures. It further advised the passengers to contact their respective airlines for updated flight information.

"Due to dense Fog, there has been impact on Flight departures, however, flights which are CAT III compliant are able to land and depart from Delhi Airport. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted," said the advisory.

Delhi's air quality has dropped to the 'severe' level, with the AQI reaching 409 at 7 AM today, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. This marks an increase from 299 at the same time yesterday.

As the temperature dropped, many night shelters across the national capital were fully occupied, with all beds taken.
The Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) has installed 235 pagoda tents to offer shelter to homeless individuals. Night shelters have been established in various locations across the national capital, such as AIIMS, Lodhi Road, and the Nizamuddin flyover.
