Delhi Rain Update: As rain continues to lash parts of Delhi, several region faces waterlogging on Sunday. According to news agency ANI, the visuals from Mundka show the waterlogged roads in which the vehicles were struggling to cross the road amid the traffic congestion. Vehicles were wading through the waterlogged road while the commuters were struggling to get their vehicle off the waterlogged road. A traffic policeman was seen helping a commuter to get his vehicle off from the mud.
Delhi witnessed heavy rains even on Saturday evening too, bringing respite from the humid weather. The weather in Delhi has also become pleasant due to rain. The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius.
According to IMD, the national capital might also receive rain in the evening today as well. The weather body has also anticipated partly cloudy skies with very light rain or thunderstorms. The trend will continue on September 10 and 11, with partly cloudy skies and the possibility of drizzles.
Winds will shift direction during this period, with speeds varying between 4-16 km/h. By September 12, the sky is expected to be generally cloudy, accompanied by light rain or thunderstorms.
Minor traffic disruptions, water accumulation, and other impacts could occur during these rainy days. Residents are advised to check traffic conditions and avoid waterlogged areas where possible.
