Delhi Weather Update: Amidst the indifference of the southwest monsoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that there is no possibility of rain in Delhi for four more days. During the upcoming four days, the bright sun will shine and increase the maximum temperature.

The humidity will also rise accordingly. According to the IMD forecast, Delhi is expected to get another spell of rain on August 13 and 14. The rainfall will bring the temperature down by a few degrees.

Forecast for tomorrow

On Saturday, the IMD has forecast a partly cloudy day. According to the weather department, there is a possibility of light or very light rainfall. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 33 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Weather observed today

On Friday, the sky was mostly clear with clouds often covering the sun. The maximum temperature of the national capital was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius, 2.0 degrees above normal. Similarly, the minimum temperature was 26.8 degrees Celsius, 0.1 degrees below normal. The humidity level in the air was recorded at 77 to 50 percent. No part of the national capital received rainfall on Friday.

On the other hand, the air quality in the national capital has improved due to the favourable weather conditions. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi's AQI was recorded at 116 on Friday. It is placed in the medium category.

The AQI of NCR cities also settled in the medium category, sometimes satisfactory. Given the monsoon season, the pollution level is unlikely to rise in next few weeks.
