The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS, a rapid rail system connecting the national capital with the neighbouring cities announced its fares. The priority section will begin regular services on a 17-km priority section from October 21. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the section on October 20, which will help the people living in the suburbs to commute easily between Delhi for their jobs.
The priority section of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS will have five stations, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot. The fares for the passengers will vary depending on the class of service and the distance travelled. The Standard Class fares will range from Rs 20 to Rs 50, while the Premium Class fares will start from Rs 40 and go up to Rs 100.
The Premium Class coaches will offer cushioned reclining seats, laptop charging ports, magazine holders and other amenities. The rapid rail system will also have multiple ticketing modes, including Digital QR code-based Tickets, National Common Mobility Card (NCMC), Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) and Paper QR code-based journey tickets.

Children with a height of less than 90 cm will be allowed to travel for free on Rapidx trains. Passengers will be permitted to take luggage weighing up to 25 kg, with dimensions of 80 cm x 50 cm x 30 cm.
