The Postal Department and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust have signed an agreement to deliver Prasad of the temple to devotees across the country by speed post. The Prasad comes in a tamper-proof envelope and contains various sacred items.
To receive the Prasad, devotees have to send an e-money order of Rs 251 to the Senior Superintendent Post Office, Varanasi (East) Division-221001. The Prasad will be dispatched by the postal department as soon as the e-money order is received.

The Prasad includes a picture of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirling, Mahamrityunjaya Yantra, Shri Shiv Chalisa, Rudraksh rosary of 108 grains, Belpatra, coin with image of Bhole Baba offering alms to Mata Annapurna, Bhabhuti, Raksha Sutra, Rudraksh beads, dry fruits and packet of rock sugar. The Prasad is dry and can be used for a long time.

Devotees can also get the Prasad from the counter of Varanasi City Post Office for Rs 201. They will receive speed post details through SMS on their mobile numbers, for which they have to provide their complete address, pin code and mobile number in the e-money order.
Postmaster General of Varanasi Zone, Krishna Kumar Yadav and Senior Postal Superintendent Ram Niwas announced the initiative and said that it is a service for the devotees who cannot visit the temple due to various reasons.
