Dhanbad News: With the holy month of Sawan starting from July 11, Indian Railways is introducing special trains to facilitate pilgrims travelling to Baba Dham in Deoghar. For the first time, a Sawan Mela Special train will run from Gomo to Jaynagar via Jasidih, with stoppages in Dhanbad and Tetulmari.

Earlier, the Dhanbad Railway Division had proposed starting this special train from Dhanbad. However, due to high train traffic at the Dhanbad Coaching Depot, the Mechanical Department advised shifting the origin to Gomo. The train will operate with 15 coaches, based on the capacity of Gomo’s washing pit.
