Durga Puja has already arrived and Diwali and Chhath Puja are just a few days away. As the season of festivals is knocking on the door, the Indian Railways has declared that it will run 30 special trains. The trains will cover various regions including Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Gaya, Patna and more. Let's take a look at trains running from Mumbai and Pune:
Special Trains Running Between Mumbai And Nagpur
Indian Railways has introduced the CSMT- Nagpur Biweekly Superfast Special. The trains will run from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Nagpur and vice versa. They will take 20 trips and will have stops on several prominent stations like Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, and Bhusaval.
Trains Running Between Pune and Nagpur
The Nagpur-Pune weekly Superfast Special will take a total of 10 trips to travelers between these two cities, easing travel for commuters during the festive season. Trains will depart from Nagpur on Thursdays, and from Pune on Fridays. Major stops where trains will halt include Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, and Manmad.

Diwali 2023
This year, Diwali will be celebrated on November 12. The festival of lights is celebrated every year on Amavasya or the fifteenth day of the month of Kartik. It spans five days starting from Dhanteras, on November 10, and ending on Bhai Dooj, on November 14.

The 4-day festival of Chhath is one of the major festivals of India. This festival is celebrated in most parts of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and also in some parts of Nepal. The festival is dedicated to worshipping the Sun to seek blessings and praying to keep the family healthy and wealthy.
