Marking the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Durga Saptashati Foundation will organise a grand Yoga Festival on June 21 at Shri Venkateshwar International School, Sector 18, Dwarka, New Delhi. The event is expected to witness participation from thousands of yoga enthusiasts, wellness advocates, and members of the community.

According to Sandhya Singh, Founder of the Durga Saptashati Foundation, the program will commence at 6:00 AM and aims to promote awareness about the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga while encouraging a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

The event will begin with a traditional Ganesh Vandana, followed by a large-scale collective yoga session led by experienced practitioners. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various yoga practices designed to enhance overall well-being and mindfulness.

Adding significance to the occasion, a senior Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and a noted thinker will grace the event as the Chief Guest. His address is expected to inspire attendees and highlight the relevance of yoga in modern life.

Speaking about the initiative, the organisers emphasised that yoga is not merely a physical exercise but a holistic way of life that fosters harmony, discipline, and positivity. Through this event, the Foundation seeks to encourage individuals from all walks of life to adopt yoga as a daily practice and contribute to building a healthier society.
