DUSU Elections: The campaign for the Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) elections concluded on Thursday morning. The voting process will begin on September 22 that is, Friday.
On the final day of campaigning, the ABVP and NSUI littered the campus with leaflets and banners, leaving Krantikari Yuva Sangathan (KYS) to carry out a "safai abhiyan" alongside municipal corporation personnel.
On September 22, students from 52 colleges will elect DUSU's new office bearers.

The final push for support by ABVP included sharing its manifesto with students on college campuses, in hostels, and in door-to-door conversations. The female students tied a 'Raksha sutra,' or protection thread, around the ABVP candidates and wished them success. Similarly, NSUI candidates toured 15 colleges, emphasising their manifesto provisions for menstruation leave and hostels, among other things.
The All India Students' Association and its four candidates visited colleges and departments, reinforcing their commitment to fighting for students' rights and their campaign's motto, "Vote for students' welfare, Reject money & muscle power."
Another left-leaning group, the Students' Federation of India, shared their manifesto and stated that it was against FYUP, wanted the cost of canteen food to be reduced, and wanted queer collectives to be recognized, among other things.
