Delhi University: On Tuesday, the Delhi University (DU) started the admissions process for three new programs: the MA in Hindu Studies, the PG Diploma in Cyber Security & Law, and Chinese Studies. The course registration period will end on September 30. The courses, according to a DU information bulletin, are intended to combine conventional knowledge of Hindu philosophy with modern subjects like computer science, informatics, commerce, and political science.

They also aim to improve students' Chinese language skills and make them aware of the most recent developments in the online world. The announcement adds that the programs would emphasize both a solid understanding of the Hindu ethos and current employment goals.

MA in Hindu Studies

The postgraduate program has 60 seats available, which will be distributed as follows:

Unreserved category: 24 seats

SC (Scheduled Caste): 9 seats

ST (Scheduled Tribe): 5 seats

OBC (Other Backward Classes): 16 seats

EWS (Economically Weaker Sections): 6 seats

Admission Fees: The cost is 8,960 for candidates who are UR/OBC-NCL/EWS/SC/ST. The cost is Rs 2,240 for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). The program is open to anyone having a bachelor's degree in any subject.

MA in Chinese Studies

Admission has already started for the university's MA in Chinese Studies program. The following qualifications must be met to be admitted to this program:

A Bachelor's degree with at least 50% of the required marks from any accredited university in India or abroad, plus a one-year (full-time) postgraduate intensive advanced diploma course in Chinese offered by the University of Delhi or another UGC-approved institution.

OR

A Bachelor's degree in Chinese with at least 15 years of schooling and at least 50% overall from any accredited Indian or international university, or an equivalent Chinese course.

There are 49 seats overall available for the program, and they are distributed as follows by category:

General category: 19 seats

SC (Scheduled Caste): 7 seats

ST (Scheduled Tribe): 4 seats

OBC (Other Backward Classes): 13 seats

EWS (Economically Weaker Sections): 6 seats

PG Diploma in Cyber Security & Law

The percentage of marks received on the qualifying degree examination will be used to determine admission. Candidates for the course must be recent graduates with a degree in computer science, information technology, computer applications, software development, computer engineering, or an equivalent.

There are 64 seats overall, which are distributed as follows:
