Arvinder Singh Lovely, President of the Delhi Congress, predicted that NSUI candidates would win all four DUSU seats. Lovely hosted students from all parts of Delhi at his home. Lovely further said that as a result of the defeat, the ABVP had resorted to hooliganism and purposefully ruined the environment in Vidhansabha. He urged students to vote without fear.
