Elvish Yadav Rave Party Case: Months after the Noida Police investigated the charges of using snake venom in rave parties associated with the YouTuber and Big Boss OTT 2 winner, Elvish Yadav, a fresh forensic report has confirmed that the venom of Indian Krait and Cobra species was used as an intoxication agent in the parties. The revelation came as FSL Jaipur sent its report on the samples seized by Noida Police in one of the parties attended by Elvish Yadav.
The YouTuber, who enjoys a huge fan following over social media platforms, has been entangled in controversy after a sting operation by an NGO, People For Animals (PFA), led police to five snake charmers who admitted to supplying the venom to the Yadav's party. Police had booked six individuals in the case, including Elvish Yadav. Nine snakes, including five cobras, were rescued from the apprehended individuals, while about 20 ml of suspected snake venom was also recovered from the party venue.
Elvish Yadav, accused of supplying snake venom
The social media influencer is accused of using and supplying the snake venom to the rave party. Since the raid, the 26-year-old was questioned twice by the Noida Police in the case about his involvement in the racket. Though investigated and questioned, Elvish Yadav was not arrested at that time. The poison recovered from the snake charmers was sent to FSL based in Jaipur. The report, which came after about three months, described the substance used as snake venom.
Elvish Yadav's name was disclosed by one of the suppliers
In the complaint given to the police, PFA officer Gaurav Gupta had told the police that Elvish Yadav, along with other YouTube members, used to shoot videos with snake venom and live snakes in the farmhouses of Noida-NCR. Not only this, they used to organize rave parties illegally in which foreigners, especially women, were made to consume snake venom and intoxicants. This was claimed by a PFA officer based on information provided by one of the arrested agents, Rahul Yadav.
