It was found that an audio clone of Ranveer Singh's voice had been employed replacing the original audio in the viral video. The original video depicts Ranveer Singh praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi while responding to a query about his visit to Kashi (Varanasi) recently. In the edited version of the video, a fabricated statement has been incorporated in the video in which Ranveer Singh is endorsing the Congress party.

A 30-second viral video allegedly shows Ranveer Singh urging support for the Congress party. However, the audio appears manipulated, with no synchronization between visuals and sound. The original clip, found via ANI's official handle, spans 2 minutes 33 seconds and features Singh discussing cultural heritage and development, without any mention of political preference. An investigation by Vishvas News confirms the viral clip's manipulation. Additionally, Singh and Kriti Sanon's Varanasi fashion show highlighted local craftsmanship.
