Faridabad News: The Jammu and Kashmir police has seized 300 kilograms of RDX, two AK-47 rifles, and ammunition from Haryana’s Faridabad after a tip off from a doctor arrested earlier. The huge recovery comes days after police arrested a Kashmiri doctor from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh for allegedly sticking posters in support of Jaish-e-Mohammed (a terror outfit) in Srinagar.

An AK-47 rifle was earlier seized from the locker of a faculty member at the Government Medical College in Anantnag. The man has been identified as Dr Adil Ahmad Rather, jagran,com reported.

Dr Adil established links to another doctor, who was subsequently arrested for interrogation, as per the report.

The ammunition, explosives and arms were stored with the second doctor identified as Mujahil Shakeel

Adil was charged under the Arms Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The doctor's links state that terror networks are actively working with highly educated professionals.

Security Agencies are trying to find out the source and intent behind the storage of such weapons and explosives. The operation was carried out with the help of Haryana Police.
