Dhirendra Shastri Padyatra: Led by Bageshwar Dham's revered Peethadheeshwar Dhirendra Shastri Maharaj, the much-anticipated Sanatan Hindu Unity Foot March has made its way into the Faridabad district via the Mangar Cut route, drawing thousands of devotees and igniting a fervent display of cultural solidarity.

In a bid to facilitate the smooth passage to the procession, authorities have completely shut down the Faridabad-Gurugram Road for general traffic, leaving the commuters into hours of gridlock.

Despite three consecutive advisories from the traffic police urging motorists to plan alternate paths, there has been little compliance. "We issued alerts well in advance, but the volume of vehicles trying to force through has overwhelmed us," a senior traffic official was reported by Jagran.com as saying.

The traffic advisory came into effect sharply at 8 am, with barricades placed at key spots like Masjid Chowk, funnelling vehicles onto secondary routes. Overloaded backroads are now choked with endless queues, leaving office-goers and families stranded.

It is expected that the march will cover the Faridabad-Gurugram stretch in the next three to four hours before halting at NIT's Dussehra Ground for an overnight, and will complete with communal dinner. On Sunday, November 9, the convoy will set toward Ballabhgarh's Dussehra Maidan.
