Nitin Gadkari Toll Plan: Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday announced that customers will be able to get a FasTag-based annual pass. Starting on August 15, consumers will have to pay Rs 3,000 for the FASTag-based Annual Pass.
Specifically designed for private non-commercial vehicles, such as cars, jeeps, and vans, this permit is valid for 200 journeys or one year from activation, depending on whether milestone is met first.
Travel on India's national highways will be more inexpensive and efficient thanks to the Annual Pass. Soon, users will be able to renew and activate their passes via a special area on the Rajmarg Yatra App and the NHAI and MoRTH official portals, said Gadkari.
This project simplifies toll payments into a single, reasonably priced transaction and provides a solution to the persistent problems with toll plazas within 60 kilometres.
