FIITJEE, a prominent coaching institute, has issued a statement addressing the ongoing controversy surrounding the sudden closure of several of its centres. The institute reassured students and parents that the situation is temporary and that operations will soon resume while stating that students' education and future remain the top priority for the institute.

FIITJEE's statement, issued in 13 points, clarified that the decision to close any centres was not made by the company itself. The closures were caused by the unexpected withdrawal of a key management partner and his team. The company has assured that efforts are underway to restore normal operations at all affected locations.

The statement also mentioned that ‘malicious legal cases’ had been filed against the company, and FIITJEE suspects a conspiracy behind the events. The institute expressed confidence that the investigation will reveal the truth, vowing to take legal action against competitors who engage in unfair practices. It has urged students to maintain trust in the institution as the matter is resolved.

The closure of the FIITJEE centre in Knowledge Park-3, Greater Noida, on January 21 has sparked outrage among parents. Without prior notice, the management locked the centre and fled, leaving students and parents shocked when they received messages about the shutdown. This sudden action led to protests from parents, who expressed their displeasure and demanded government intervention.

Protests were also held at FIITJEE's Sector 62, Noida, branch, where parents raised slogans against the company. They called for strict action against the management and sought punishment for those responsible for the closure.

Following the abrupt closures, FIITJEE founder DK Goyal, CFO Rajiv Babbar, COO Manish Anand and the Greater Noida branch head Ramesh Batlesh have been named in an FIR filed by the Noida Police. The case stems from complaints by parents, including Mrinal, whose daughter had paid over Rs 3 lakh in fees for a March session, only to learn of the closure.

Another parent, Alok, expressed frustration over the impact on his son's board exams, having paid the full session fees for his Class 10 student. Parents are demanding a response from both the institution and the government, seeking a refund and assurances regarding their children's future.
