Flight Status Delhi Airport: Dense fog continued to engulf Delhi-NCR on Tuesday, disrupting air traffic. 60 incoming, 58 outgoing flights were cancelled while 16 flights were diverted At Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport.
IGI Airport issued a passenger advisory at 7 am in view of disruptions. Another advisory was issued at 9:00 am which stated that the “flight operations are running smoothly as visibility at the airport has improved. Please be assured that our on-ground officials are available across terminals to assist passengers and provide necessary support.”
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in this regard, warning of "dense fog" extending into the forenoon. Adding to the weather woes, Delhi’s air quality remained in the very poor category with an AQI of 384 at 8 am, prompting authorities to advise residents to limit outdoor activities.
The airport assured passengers that on-ground officials are present at all terminals to assist passengers and provide necessary support. The Civil Aviation Ministry said that fog and low visibility in some parts of North India are affecting flights, so passengers are advised to check flight status in advance, stay in touch with their airline and allow more time for travel.

Airlines have been directed to strictly adhere to passenger facilitation norms, including timely flight information, meals for late-arriving passengers, rebooking or refund in case of cancellation, no denial of boarding after timely check-in, baggage facility and prompt redressal of complaints.
The Civil Aviation Ministry stated that they are fully prepared for the safety and convenience of the passengers, and the situation is being closely monitored.
