Shibu Soren, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) supremo and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament, has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi after complaining of uneasiness and shortness of breath.

The former Chief Minister of Jharkhand expressed his displeasure when he was returning to Ranchi with his son, Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The Chief Minister afterward returned to Ranchi, from where he was scheduled to travel to Hazaribag for an event but was unable to do so due to a technical problem with his chopper, according to officials quoted by news agency PTI.

On September 9, the father-son pair traveled to Delhi together. Shibu Soren went for a routine check-up, while Hemant Soren was set to attend a dinner party hosted by President Draupadi Murmu.

After attending the dinner, he posted on X, "Today evening, I had pleasure to attend the G20India2023 official dinner hosted by Hon'ble @rasthtrapatibhavan President Smt Droupadi Murmu Ji. Also had the opportunity to meet with Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and other dignitaries on the occasion."

Additionally, he had posted a photo with Joe Biden, Narendra Modi, Droupadi Murmu, and Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar.

Shibu Soren's condition is presently steady, according to reports. The JMM Supremo was hospitalised at a Ranchi private hospital earlier this year after complaining of breathing issues.

Shibu Soren served as Jharkhand chief minister thrice between 2005 and 2010.
