Gangster Anmol Bishnoi, accused in more than 31 criminal cases across several states, was deported from the United States and returned to India on Wednesday afternoon (November 19). A team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), along with Delhi Police officials, was stationed at Indira Gandhi International Airport to receive him upon landing. According to reports, he will be presented before the Patiala House Court shortly after completing the required formalities.
Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, had been running operations from abroad and was regarded as a major decision-maker within the Bishnoi network. His deportation follows a year-long process initiated after US authorities discovered forged travel documents associated with the identity he was using.

List Of Key Cases Charged Against Anmol Bishnoi
1. Baba Siddique Murder Case
Anmol has been named as the “key architect” of the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai in October last year. Mumbai Police have already submitted a chargesheet against him in the case. According to investigators, he directed the plot from overseas, coordinating with shooters and middlemen associated with the Bishnoi network.
2. Shooting At Salman Khan Residence
He is additionally sought in connection with the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Mumbai Police have listed him in their chargesheet, alleging that he was a key planner and facilitator who arranged the logistics for the attack. The incident further heightened worries about the Bishnoi gang’s expanding influence beyond state boundaries.
3. Part Of Sidhu Moosewala Murder
Reports indicate that Anmol arranged key logistics, including weapons and ammunition, for the assailants who carried out the 2022 killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in Punjab’s Tarn Taran. His role is believed to have involved organizing movement routes, securing arms, and managing communication between members of the operation.
Other Cases Across Country
Officials say Anmol is named in over several cases across Delhi, Haryana and Punjab, involving allegations of organised crime, extortion networks and violent offences tied to the Bishnoi group.
The NIA has also filed chargesheets against him in two different cases, citing his role in gang-related activities and the financial channels that supported the organisation’s terror-linked operations.
