Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha Election Result 2024 LIVE:
Bhartiya Janta Party Candidate Mahesh Sharma has won the Gautam Buddha Nagar seat by a margin of 5,59,472 votes, the Election Commission of India confirmed on Tuesday. He received 857829 votes in the Lok Sabha polls, against Samajwadi Party’s Mahendra Nagar who got 298357 votes.
After winning the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from Gautam Buddha Nagar constituency, Mahesh Sharma, as quoted by news agency ANI, said, “People of the country have expressed their trust in PM Modi, the BJP and our leaders. I think history is being written today...I thank the people of my constituency.”

A total of 15 candidates were running for the Gautam Buddha Nagar seat, but the main battle for votes was between BJP’s Mahesh Sharma and Samajwadi Party’s Mahendra Singh Nagar.
Gautam Buddha Nagar constituency recorded a voter turnout of 53.21% including 55.09 % female voters, 51.90% men, and 9.24% third-gender people. Noida, Jewar & Dadri, Sikandrabad and Khurja are the five assembly segments that make up the Gautam Buddh Nagar seat.
In the 2019 elections, Mahesh Sharma secured victory with a remarkable margin, he gained 8,30,812 votes and a vote share of 59.64%. His closest competitor, BSP's Satveer Nagar, garnered 4,93,890 votes (35.45%). In the 2014 polls, Sharma emerged victorious for the first time with 5,99,702 votes and a 50% vote share, defeating SP candidate Narendra Bhati by a margin of 2,80,212 votes.
The Gautam Buddha Nagar Lok Sabha seat, previously under Khurja Lok Sabha constituency, was established in 2008 on the recommendation of the Delimitation Commission of India. The constituency has witnessed 3 elections so far. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) emerged victorious in the first elections in 2009, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won back-to-back elections there in 2014 and 2019, solidifying its hold on power.

- Mahesh Sharma is leading by 2,04,092 votes, while SP candidate Mahendra Nagar stands in second place with 11,334 votes.
