Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam Election Result: BJP candidate Sunita Dayal emerged victorious in the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation election results announced on May 13. The counting of votes took place along with the counting for Ghaziabad nikay election results. Municipal elections were held in two phases in the state. Over 1.92 crore voters exercised their franchise during the municipal elections held in Ghaziabad.

Ghaziabad has Municipal Corporation as well as 4 Nagar Palikas and 4 Nagar Panchayats. Here the main contest is between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP). At the same time, in this election, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BJP) is seen giving a tough competition on many seats. The Ghaziabad result will clear many things regarding the UP civic elections. It is being seen as the biggest battle before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

- BJP is leading after the eighth round of counting for the post of Mayor in Meerut Municipal Corporation.

- Saharanpur: BJP is leading by 45,000 votes in Saharanpur Municipal Corporation. BSP trails on second number. SP candidate Noor Hasan slipped to the third number. At the same time, BJP is ahead from Nagar Panchayat President Beswan Ward 6. BJP candidate Hubbalal is ahead by 129 votes.

- UP Nagar Nikay Result: BJP's Sunita Dayal appears set to become mayor as she leads by 58,643 votes in Ghaziabad after 6 rounds of counting.
