In a similar incident, a video of people looting chickens from a vehicle that met with an accident on the Agra-Firozabad National Highway months earlier went viral on social media. The vehicle, which was carrying chickens worth about Rs 1.5 lakh, was involved in a collision with 16 vehicles on the highway due to dense fog in the region.

As soon as the accident happened, villagers living nearby and some passers-by started taking out the chickens from the cage of the vehicle. They were joined by other people who were passing by the highway.

Some were seen running with chickens in their hands, while others filled them in sacks. The looting continued for about half an hour, until the police arrived at the spot and dispersed the crowd but by then, dozens of chickens had been taken away by the looters.
