Ghaziabad Traffic Restrictions: As part of traffic arrangements for the Kanwar Yatra, Ghaziabad's Seemapuri border and Meerut Road from Meerut Tiraha on GT Road have been converted to one-way traffic, effective from noon today. While traffic will flow in both directions on the Delhi-bound lane of GT Road, the Meerut-bound traffic will utilise both sides of the lane on Meerut Road.

Given the influx of devotees on the first Monday of Sawan at the Dudheshwar Nath temple, the movement of vehicles will be restricted on the Gaushala Underpass and Gaushala Road. Given the arrival of Kanwariyas on Meerut road, the traffic police had issued a diversion plan. The diversion plan will come into effect from 12 noon on Monday.

This plan is for light vehicles because entry into the city has been banned for heavy vehicles since the night of July 11.
